We work with carefully selected, well-bred Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, and Labradors, breeds renowned for their trainability and suitability as service dogs.
Our puppies are either purchased or donated to the program, with the goal of placing them as fully trained service dogs between 18 to 24 months of age.
Each puppy will be matched with a specific service dog role based on their chosen career.
These careers include, but are not limited to, Medical alert, PTSD response, Mobility assistance, Autism response, or Hearing alert.
InVested Service Dogs is committed to expanding its impact by transitioning into a nonprofit organization in the coming years. We also aim to achieve ADI (Assistance Dogs International) accreditation to ensure the highest standards of service dog training and care. Our ultimate goal is to provide life-changing support to individuals in need through expertly trained psychiatric and medical response service dogs.
InVested Service Dogs are trained to perform specific, life-enhancing tasks, and as such, they are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in public spaces. Unlike emotional support or therapy dogs, our service dogs are custom-trained to assist with medical and psychiatric needs, such as medical alerts, mobility support, and PTSD response, ensuring they provide critical support to their handlers in any public environment.
