At InVested Service Dogs, we’re building something powerful! A future where service dogs are accessible, expertly trained, and genuinely life-changing for those who need them most.
We’re currently accepting a limited number of donated puppies to be evaluated for our psychiatric and medical response service dog training program. If you’re a responsible breeder or owner looking to make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.
We primarily train Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, and German Shepherds. Puppies of these breeds, or similar breeds, are most likely to succeed in our program.
To be considered, puppies should ideally:
Be 8–16 weeks old.
Show confidence, resilience, and a willingness to engage with people.
Come from health-tested lines (when applicable).
Have no known signs of aggression or extreme fearfulness.
Have a health certificate that was issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days of being given to InVested.
Your donation could help change someone’s life. While we can’t offer payment, we do offer:
Recognition on our social media and website.
Updates on the puppy’s progress if desired.
The knowledge that you’re helping someone gain independence and hope.
Eventually we will be a non-profit and will then be able to offer reciept of donation.
No! While we welcome donated puppies and are incredibly grateful for them, not all of our service dogs come from donations. Some puppies are purchased from ethical, purpose-driven breeders who share our standards for health, temperament, and structure. This helps ensure consistency and quality as we grow.
We believe in sourcing responsibly, whether through donations or carefully selected litters, with the end goal always being the same: placing stable, capable service dogs with the people who need them most.
We take each donation seriously and evaluate all puppies for temperament, health, and trainability. Not all puppies are suited for service work, and that’s okay. If a donated puppy isn’t the right fit, we may place them in a loving home and/or offer basic training before rehoming. Breeders can be as involved in the process as they prefer.
Please email here. We’ll reach out to discuss the next steps and schedule a temperament evaluation.
