Interested in partnering with a service dog? We’re so glad you’re here. At InVested Service Dogs, we want every placement to be a success — for both dog and handler. That’s why our application process is thorough, supportive, and focused on long-term compatibility.
Complete the Application
Our detailed application helps us understand your:
Disability-related needs
Daily lifestyle and support system
Preferences for your service dog
Eligibility for Full Service, Started Dog, or Owner-Trained track
Provide a Doctor’s Note
We require a medical note (form provided) confirming your need for a service dog and your ability to handle one. If unavailable, we accept two letters of recommendation.
Interview With Our Team
We'll schedule a phone, video, or in-person interview to:
Clarify your goals and support system
Review placement track options
Begin building a connection
Lifestyle Tracking
You'll complete 2–4 weeks of daily activity documentation so we can understand your routine, environment, and potential task needs.
Task Planning
We’ll work with you to create a client-led list of realistic, meaningful service dog tasks tailored to your disability and lifestyle.
Acceptance Decision
Once all documents are reviewed, we’ll notify you of our decision and next steps. Accepted clients receive an official letter and begin their training or dog-matching process.
